July 7, 2011 at 8:53 pm #166050Hello,
I installed version 1.4.3 on a Joomla 1.5.23, and I am seeing some problems:
– When I create a new “voice”, the screen does not update, even through “refresh” of the browser. I need to go to the Dashboard to see the existence of what I created.
– The system insists to show in selectbox when creating a new voice, the forums Voice JATC Club, Club JAEC, JMTC JMEC Club and Club, even with them disabled.
I do not use any kind of cache!
Any ideas?
Thank you

July 7, 2011 at 11:13 pm #400264Do you have a URL?
September 29, 2011 at 12:21 am #415581Was there a fix to this problem, as I have a similar problem
Need a fix urgently, stilll waiting on a response from Joomlart support team. If any one has had the problem and resolved the issue, could you please share your knowledge on the subject.
I’m not an expert but the problem seems to only occur in IE and if I use IE to clear session cookies the issue is resolved until I reenter the JA Voice application. Like the Micheltorres (above) I don’t believe I have any cache on.

September 29, 2011 at 7:10 pm #415710Please create a support ticket, or PM one of our moderators your information…both of which are secure.
September 29, 2011 at 7:20 pm #415711The support ticket is Ticket: #RID-186-17715 (created a few days ago). I’ll PM you with details.
RegardsSeptember 29, 2011 at 7:35 pm #415712I have sent you (jwbrett) a PM – Ticket: #RID-186-17715
September 29, 2011 at 7:53 pm #415716Using IE9 browser after adding a new voice, the voice is not displayed in the forum’s listing. When you select a forum the number of voices are reset (less the new voice added). When in Google Chrome the new voice is displayed in the forum listing after creation and the forum numbers are correct.
Things seem to work well in Google chrome and not in IE9.
I have found out that by using (IE9) tool-> F12 Developer tools -> cache -> clear session cache then go back to JA Voice and select a forum all is OK.
September 30, 2011 at 9:05 am #415857I have checked Joomlart JA Voice demo http://demo.javoice.joomlart.com/index.php/wishlist I’m able to replicate the problem with your demo version
September 30, 2011 at 2:45 pm #415887Is there any feedback as to the nature and a solution to the problem? Cheers.

September 30, 2011 at 3:55 pm #415903If you will look at your ticket you will see that Xuan is working the issue now that you have updated your information.
Thank you!
John.October 1, 2011 at 8:46 am #415999The ticket was created on the 28th and I’m concerned given (to date) no response. JA Voice is critical and a core component of my website and after making a purchase I was hoping that the component would work and that support would be forthcoming. Ja Voice is a great approach to communication but unless basic functionality (ie capture and display voices in forums) works as expected, then I fear the investment of time and money maybe wasted. After four days I was hoping to hear from someone. After further testing the problem does not only exist with IE9 and my installation with JA Voice but also with IE8 and Joomlart.com demo environment of JA Voice. As I said its a great concept, I just need it working.
Many thanks for your ear
VentingOctober 3, 2011 at 11:44 am #416436After further investigation if I (via Internet explorer), from the tools menu, select F12 developer tools, Cache, “Always refresh from Server” the JA Voice application functions as expected. I also ran the JA Voice demo http://demo.javoice.joomlart.com/index.php/wishlist with the “”Always refresh from Server” option selected. and the JA Voice demo site is also functioning correctly.
To test I entered created a new voice. Then changed forums and created another new voice. The forum numbers of voice to not reflect the new voices when you switch between forums, nor are the new voices displayed.,
This is not a fix but hopefully helps you to provide a solution in a timely manner.
