With the CB module uploaded I don’t receive this message….

April 1, 2010 at 1:35 pm #338775Dear investx,
I am sure you are missing some step there.
First of all with component you need to check whether their xml allows for upgrade / rollback procedure.
You need to install old version in your site, then upload the same version along with the new version in the repository and then it will show comparison.
You need to watch that video again and read the wiki.

April 5, 2010 at 7:14 am #339103Dear investx,
I checked the xml files, the dates in both the files is mar. 2010. So the component is not able to make out the new version. Please update the dates in the xml new version and try again.
JA Extension Manager relies on Version Number and Dates for identifying the new version.Take due backup before you do anything with your live site.

April 7, 2010 at 4:07 pm #339500I changed the date …but don’t soleved the problem……
I think this is not the problem because JA Extension don’t view any version in the Repository…
Other components or module that have the same version in the repository like the live version give me the message ” no new message found” .. but for Agora or CB when click check update …give me “Sorry, no version uploaded in Repository ” although I have both versions in Repository

May 4, 2010 at 11:48 am #342624I have the same problem when trying to compare Teline III template version 1.4.0 and 1.4.1.
First I tried to upload only new version and compare with installed 1.4.0. No success. Then, I uploaded both – 1.4.0 and 1.4.1 to the repository. Again – “Sorry, no version uploaded in Repository”, but I see the files in the repository. See the attached screenshots.-

May 5, 2010 at 10:10 pm #342758Hi gray,
Please check the xml of all three package ( 1.4.0 xml on live site, 1.4.0 xml in repo and 1.4.1 xml in repo).
It checks for latest version based on the version and date mentioned in the xml file. If possible please forward your login details and i shall have a look or raise a support ticket with your login / ftp details. You can even add me to skype. check my profile for skype ID.
Regards
Arvind

May 8, 2010 at 10:43 am #343018The result is the same. When I tried to switch to Server update I got
Response from JoomlArt Updater Service: Sorry, this extension is invalid, unpublished or no longer supportedAs regards Local Service, it seems the pointer to local folder is not correct.
In repository manager I see:
/home/my_username_given_by_hoster/domains/my_domain/public_html/jaextmanager_data//templateAslo, look in double // before template (not sure it causes problems).
The same I see in the pop-up tip over Sorry, no version uploaded in Repository message.

May 12, 2010 at 5:39 am #343306drarvindc,
I’ve sent you the access data via email. If you have ny updates on the component, pls let us know.May 16, 2010 at 10:34 pm #343762I’m having the same problem. It seems to me there is a problem with the path.
When I use the app to upload, it says it’s uploaded the file to the ja_extmanager_data//components directory, but when I look at my site, there is nothing under ja_extmanager, probably because it can’t figure out this empty directory!
So, it seems to me the path is getting set wrong somewhere.
