In Ja K2 filter menu link, I can sorting my extra fiels ascending but not descending… Can you help me please.

You can see the config in: backend >> JA K2 Filter >> Options >> Search Configuration >> Extra Field Values Sorting Mode >> Choose what Extra Field and type for Order.

Hello,
I choose Numeric type for my extra field in Ja k2 filter config, I cant’t choose ascending or descending mode here.
When I want to config it in Jak2 filter menu link (type items list), I can’t choose "Descending" mode. I attached a screen capture.

Did you see part "Extra Field Values Sorting Mode"? each Extra Field has three options: Ordering, Alphabetical, Reverse Alphabetical. I have uploaded attachment so you can have a look.

Ordering : all values of Extra Field will sort by the order you set in K2 >> Extra Field. Alphabetical: all values will order from 0-9 (if you set value type is Numberic), or a-z (if you set value type is String) Reverse Alphabetical: all value will order from 9-0 (if you set value type is Numberic), or z-a (if you set value type is String)

The sorting function doesn’t support for K2 Extra Field type Text Field.

Yes, I saw it and everything is like you said. I’m not sure we we are well understood… My problem is with the menu link type "JaK2 filter-> Itemlist" (attached file : capture item list menu.png). I can’t order descending (attached file : ordering menu link layout.jpg) : "MyExtraField – descending" doesn’t exist. Is there a problem ? Is it normal ? Thank you.

I get your question.

Since we have Multi Order, so the Descending was removed in latest version.

To revert it back, use the file I attached here, and overwrite in

administrator\components\com_jak2filter\elements\k2orderfield.php
