When looking at product listing, the sort by drop down has a small image next to it that I assume allows us to change the sort order of the products.

It looks like a little triangle. The image name is http://www.example.com/images/M_images/sort_asc.png

Viewing the “Laptops” category, my products are listing in ascending order. The little image links to
javascript: document.order.DescOrderBy.value=

However it doesn’t work. Clicking on it has no effect.

Is this a problem with Mesolite or is there a configuration option I need to change in Joomla?

Select the “Order by” value from dropdown box, then click on the sort order button (image).

As soon as I choose an Order by value, the page reloads. It doesn’t give me a chance to choose the sort order image, it reloads the page immediately I choose an Order By value.

There is only 1 order by image, triangle with the point at the top.

I can’t seem to get it to order in the reverse direction, am I doing something wrong?

OK I’ve confirmed this is a BUG. Mods, could you flag to the developers or something? I’m still finding my way around this site, I can’t find their bug tracker.

Sort order works for other templates but Mesolite is missing code!
eg Mesolite has the following properties for the sort triangle
javascript: document.order.DescOrderBy.value=

But other templates, eg JA Xenia II has properties
javascript: document.order.DescOrderBy.value=’DESC’; document.order.submit()

So obviously Xenia II sorts and Mesolite doesn’t.

This is third bug I’ve found in just two days… and I’ve only just started playing with the template!!!

Do I get a free subsription for debugging your templates for you :D:D
