January 16, 2011 at 9:11 am #158829Hi,
when performing a search with the module “filter” Search on free words (search field, not the pop-up), the Joblist (…?option=com_jajobboard&view=jajobs…) is reset and shows the FULL list.
Filtering on “Category, Place… and so on and sequentially the sorting on column in the result works fine.
It is only the “free word search” that doesn’t seem to “stick” when doing a column sort.
Hope this can be fixed and maybe even there’s some kind of temporary hack? 🙂
Regards

Dear akerman,
We have checked on your site. You need some customization to improve search function. JAJobboard doesn’t support seach jobs with keyword with comma character like: “key1, key2”

January 19, 2011 at 8:56 am #372625Hi,
not sure I follow here…. This is what I see as a Visitor/Not logged in:
1. Setting the Theme to “Default” in Admin
2. Going to Job Board front end
3. Applying the word: “secratary” in order to search in Filter module ‘free-text’ search
4. Correct selection shows up with “Default” table list theme
5. Clicking for example “Place” column in order to sort the table
6. Wham! Full list with ALL jobs showing..so no commas there.. sorry…:)
———————————————————————————————————————
In addition:When any column sorting is active:
Case 1)
Pressing the “Reset” button in Filter module after a successful search gives you:
1. The full Job list- which is correct
2. It prohibits further searches with the free-text field (because of the sorting on column)
3. You are forced to either reload page or click on Menu link for Job Board in order to initiate a new searchCase 2)
1. Making a new search Ex: “female” with the free-text field does not work
2. It prohibits further searches with the free-text field (because of the sorting on column)
3. You are forced to either reload page or click on Menu link for Job Board in order to initiate a new searchThere seem to be some caching going on here…. waiting for a couple of minutes, I’m able to perform a
new search again with column sort active. I have not activated Joomla cache (Global or Plugin) Nor have I activated Job Board cache. So only Browser then…or?(Ticket #RJI-845-62703)
