Hi there,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to sort the results of a search performed with K2 Search Module?

Since it’s in K2, there are quite a number of possibilities, but ideally we want to sort by featured items.

How would we achieve that?

We’re using layout “generic” of k2 component for result page. So, if you want to sort the search results, you need to override the layout. We will research more about this issue and try to add as feature in next release. You can follow its progress here : http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JAK2FILTER-34

Thanks, I’ll have a look at doing it via overrides, but it would be great to be able to do it via the module.

Even just by ‘title – alphabetical’ or ‘featured’ would be great.

Oldest first (by date created)
Most recent first (by date created)
Most recent first (by date published)
Title – alphabetical
Title – reverse alphabetical
Ordering
Ordering reverse
Most popular
Highest rated
Random
