July 12, 2008 at 8:48 pm #259449OK, let me try. After you opened the header-narow.psd in Photoshop, look at the lines left and right of the picture. They are marking the width of the wide header! This has a size of 930 x 170 px. The narrow header has a size of 750 x 170 px. So you have to put a line 750 px left from the right line (the guys of JA forgot to put it in), change the logo position by activating the plane collection “logo.position-narrow” and deactivating “logo-position-wide” and – at last – cut the narrow header out of the picture, now between the right and the second left line (from the left). Save this smaller picture as header-bg-narrow.jpg
As you can see in the demo, the part of the header picture between the left lines is missing in the narrow header as well, so on this way you get the same result.1 user says Thank You to orpheus2510 for this useful post

July 15, 2008 at 9:37 am #259870wops…..mistake on that part…
Anyways, I am just trying to say that try dont wait until the meal cooked and put infront of you…help yourself and learn figuring around. Sorry if it bring any trouble. Just kind of encouraging to habbelle.
And I never think of getting credit points here and there.. I wont need it anyways. Just take it if can.

July 15, 2008 at 9:55 am #259874guys – you should be thanking each other for helping out with the request rather than having a go at someone asking for help.
I’m an experienced designer/developer/webmaster but there are somethings i might struggle with.
for all you might know habbelle might not use photoshop and use something like paint shop pro. Hence the request.
please bear in mind i’m not saying habbelle uses paint shop pro or photoshop – it is merely an example!
Thank you to all of you who helped figure out the solution – especially orpheus2510
