In article setting of the rss section there is the Source Text option available.

It shows fine when the "Target Component" is "content", but when the K2 option is chosen it does not show in my article pop-up.

Should this source text link option actually work when K2 is chosen as target component? If yes, how can I get to to show?

I see, I will quote the answer here:

Hi,

It due to K2 as it doesn’t support Text link field as Joomla Content, so we don’t put Source link in this component. If you want to insert source link to K2 Item, download file k2.zip, unzip and copy overwrite to the folder:

plugins\system\jasocial_feed\tables
