Wondering why the source files are not sliced for easy export?

Since when are those sliced and even named already like each single file you later have in your images folder, from what I saw, none of the clubs do this for you, wonder why….something I miss since I met Joomla…

Rocket theme provides sliced .png files. I think some earlier Joomlart themes had the templates sliced. It would certainly help with custumization.

I think only JA Labra came with a sliced psd and probablly in respose to community nagging which stopped afterwards hee hee I too miss sliced images coming from a dreamweaver/fireworks environment and non joomla web designs such as projectseven etc

My biggest hate is all graphics should be released as pngs

Never gone into RT, TP says they offer sliced versions but I know also Yootheme does, but they only provide FW sources so you need a FW CS3 or CS4 to work with the sources, the trial version I wanted to test this with never could be installed, so I did the best way, make it all without sources and get even better results, as it forces you to go other ways coming along with new possibilities and ideas while taking the walk there…;)
