August 13, 2008 at 12:26 am #265154if you use JCE editor you can set vspace and hspace for padding around the image.
if you can write html you can add it manually. by adding hspace and vspace this to your image code
<img border="0" src="path/to/your/image/" width="534" height="250" hspace="5" vspace="4"></p>
and play with the image size and hspace=”5″ vspace=”4″ parametersyou can build the page in frontpage or DW and set up a table structure and then use cell positioning for the picture placement and then just copy the raw html into the article page

thanks for this. yes, i got the JCE Editor and mambots, but here’s the ugly catch…the server i am installing them on is in a different location than where the site is hosted 🙁 i have tried to install them manually but simply cannot get how it works in J! 1.5. i keep getting an error that says, “Can’t find the installer package” is there, somewhere, a place that can walk me through a manual joomla component installation? or perhaps you could guide me through it here? again thanks for your time. it means a lot to me! -
