Hi
There is only normal padding between the modules,
You can reduce it by adding this code in a custom.css file and change the value as per needs.

.section-wrap>div {
    padding-bottom: 36px;
    padding-top: 36px;
}

As you can see I have less space between the menu and the first text of the first slide of slideshow.

Instead of incraese paddign of each div, there is the possibility to move the text of the slideshow?

Hi
Space is same for each slide, the only difference is the graphics of slides are different and transparent so it looks like there is space.
You can use the suggested code and decrease the padding value to reduce the space between modules.
