Hi,
my slide show text is too cramped to the top and wanted to know if you could please show me how to give it just a little space from the top of the background and come down just a little…just needs a little padding…

Why not try to make the text into an image like on my site

You can then determin where you text is displayed. 😉

Oh, I forgot this part…the part that is cramped is the title and coming from the title which is obviously published. i understand that i can unpublish the title and then make the graphic…that is a solid plan b, thank you.

on another note, i visited your gorgeous website and was wondering how you got that beyond cool slide show to show up so small and perfect….

It was easy really…I simply made the text into a decent font made the size 500px by 120px and save it as a png images. (did this in photoshop)Then uploaded images to stories folder. Then in place of the text you have I have an image.

Phil, you’ve done such an awesome job with your site! I can’t help but second Ellie in asking how you did that Pop Quiz Venues image slideshow in the right column. You didn’t answer that question! 🙂

Ah the Pub Quiz venues is the mod_ja_header from an earlier template I uploaded the module then made a new folder inside my stories folder and called it pub images resized all the photos to 165px by 145px.

linked all the images to the module and hey presto you have a nice image display.
