When I create a module using the User Module, the title gets messed up.

Instead of just saying “Class Calendar” the front page shows this:

    <span class=”ja-contentheading”>Class Calendar</span>

You might imagine that makes my site look like garbage.

Please check in your administrator, what the module title you set. You should input the module title is “Class Calendar” (don’t put the span tag in the title).

    Seriously, this is your answer?

As it turns out, I am not an idiot.

The title is Class Calendar in the admin of the module.

I’m guessing it will be another 24-36 hours before I get another response, but you can see the problem on my site right now, in the user 5 position.

When I use a third party module (mod_html) the title displays correctly. When I use the default Joomla user module, the display of the title is broken.

This happens in EVERY JOOMLART THEME I have used.

Why can’t I just use the mod_html module? Because then I lost the ability to add module suffixes and other options.

I just tested it out here, i added this as module title:

    <span class="ja-contentheading">Class Calendar</span>
And the output is Class Calendar
I added Class Calendar as module title and the output is: Class Calendar….
Not sure if this is a bug in the template or a bug in the Joomla installation or your server or whatever it is.
But i spendt time helping out another person here for MANY hours, and the error was that he had the site offline and not online. (Ja templates cant handle to be offline, hehe)

Do you use 1.5 or 1.0.xx?

    1.0.15

The error appears whether the site is online or offline.

BigSky, do you figure out the problem? I don’t see this problem on your site now.
