Add below code in custom.css file

.t3-slideshow .container-hd {    background: transparent;}

On your custom.css file there is bg color for container , thats why its showing white color .

Ok thank you. Now cant put the background image. (not body background, i mean the wrapper bk). O configured it by CSS and in the admin/templates/themes, but nothing!
Look at my picture of desired result.

If you want to add image then just replace the color code with image path of bg image style .
Its only for slideshow as u wanted in first post .

Nono, the transparent bg its for the slideshow only and the background its for the whole page. Now i dont know why the background image is missing.

Also, you need to take backup of site and update templates nd T3 plugin to the latest version first .
Since you are using latest Joomla , older version and not ready for this version .

Go to system > Global config, > Seo > Turn ON search engine friendly URLs .
save and check , you will have BG image as needed .
