August 10, 2016 at 1:03 pm #958661Hi there
I am using the ja k2 filter component, and are hugely satisfied! Great work! But I am looking for a way to modify the component a bit.
The case is:
We have around 650 articles right now, and this number will rise to about 4000. All these articles are in the page as standard, and then you can search through the ja k2 filter, to get the articles you are interested in.The problem:
It takes right now between 10-15 seconds to load the page :/My thoughts:
I think its because the module search for all the 650 articles and before it will present it for you when you visit the page for the first time(because if cache is turned on, it will only take 0,7 sec.).But we are only showing a limited number of articles on each page. 10-15 articles. Because pagination is turned on.
My wish:
If we can get the component to only look for the number of articles to show on the first page.other suggestions to speed it up, is hugely welcome.

August 11, 2016 at 10:04 am #959020Hi,
My wish:
If we can get the component to only look for the number of articles to show on the first page.Yes, JA K2 Filter only filters for items of first page on the Result.
The case is:

The problem:
It takes right now between 10-15 seconds to load the page :/The page speed depends on many things of the website: Server, Content of the website: image, js, css.
As in our demo here: http://joomla-extensions.demo.joomlart.com/ has about more than 700 item, it still loads fast. We’ll try to research on your website to find out what problem make the page speed slow down.
