On this template, on the Split Menu, the submenu items are placed in their own module titled “On This Page.”

I have looked at the master CSS file, the Split Menu CSS file and several others but I’m having trouble finding where these parameters are defined.

    A. How did you designate that the sub items are their own module? Which file is calling the module instead of placing them directly under the Main Navigation like some other templates?

    B. Where can I modify that (“On This Page”) module. If it’s in the Module Manager, I plain missed it.

The module is set to display in index.php depending on if that menu is enabled or not in params.ini.

The module itself is written in Splitmenu.class.php and styled in ja.splitmenu.css

What is it you wish to modify?PS: The sub-menus that appear horizontally below the main nav are called dropline menus

Aahh, drop line – I didn’t know that was the name. So, yes, I would prefer a drop line menu (maybe depending on how it looks) but I want to make the change to determine how well it would work.

Also, though I haven’t needed to yet, I was curious about the module and might want to change the positioning of that depending on the page, but I couldn’t find how that was called.

I did find in the index.php file where the module is called, but I’m still not sure how to change it to a drop line style. I’m going to compare Zinc’s to a different template’s index.php file to see the difference, so hopefully I will find this on my own, but if you can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

As I look through another template, SanidineII_Light, there are two options that are very similar.
    Split and dropline –
In this particular template, the split menu goes directly under the menu horizontally, but only when clicked. Also, the sub menu area doesn’t exist unless needed.

In the dropline, the mouseover brings up the submenu and the area is always there whether it needs it or not.

So, I actually want the split menu on the Zinc template, I just want it to show up horizonally under the main menu instead of its own module. Surely this is possible, right? I just can’t figure out where to start becaue I’m still not 100% sure how the split works.

Question 2 – I still don’t understand the module exactly – I know it’s a menu, not a module, but when it shows up on some pages as a module does, I’m calling it a module. On some page, the “On This Page” menu shows up, on others it doesn’t, even when there are submenu items – How do I set that determinitation for each page. Is there nothing related to this “module” in the admin area?
