I’ve read through the documentation, and the setup for 1.0x users. Including looking at the “ja_vars_1.0x.php” file. I installed the “ja_helio_quickstart_v1.0_1.0.x” files and setup from there. I also have the sh404SEF module installed.

But, I cannot understand how the default “Split Menu” works (the one that is in position A at the top of the page – which I cannot publish/unpublish). I can’t find any documentation on this menu ?

If I add a new menu link item to the main menu (which I assume the menu in position A, at the top of the page uses), when I click on the default installed links the top menu remains with a highlighted menu item showing which topic I am in, but with my added link no item is highlighted in the above menu. So for me the actual link works but the highlighting doesn’t, and I have no idea how to build a split menu with this sytem.

How can I replace whatever menu lives in position A with a menu of my choice (extended menu for example – which I know how to use) ?

Any pointers greatly received. Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. And sorry for the delay in replying.

I am running it on a virtual server setup up at present – so will need to grab screenshots.

Is there any documentation about how you implement the “split-menus” ? So I can adjust them.

Hi
If you use joomla 1.5
you can config in admin, go to Extensions-> template manager, choose Ja Helio to edit
You will see some paramaters, edit as you want
if you want to edit code of split menu, you can see Splitmenu.class.php file in templatesja_helioja_menus folder and all files in templatesja_helioja_menusja_cssmenu folder
