I have made some minor modification to this template. Mostly in colors and css. But one problem I am having is that when you click a menu item on the left, that has submenu items (http://www.mmsysinc.com/products.php) and then you click those submenu items, the navigation resets (http://www.mmsysinc.com/commercial-controls.php) but it does not do it for the sub – menu item (http://www.mmsysinc.com/pc-monitor.php) Why is that??
I have been raking my brain to figure this out any help would be much appreciated.

March 28, 2009 at 9:06 pm #298745One of two things…either an SEO problem. Simply turn it off to check…
Or…perhaps the “PARENT” menu item is not set for the sub-menu items in question.
The fix: In the Administration area…goto MENUS > (the menu you want).
Click on the sub-menu item you need…and then make sure the PARENT ITEM: is set to PRODUCTS & SERVICES only. That should do it.
Have fun,

March 28, 2009 at 9:06 pm #298746looks like a SEF problem. try turning it off to see it it helps.
March 28, 2009 at 9:27 pm #298757jbrett – these where already set to the settings you suggested.
jsliao – you were on the money, it is a SEF problem. I guess I will have to test other SEF components to see which ones will work better – unless you know if one. I was using SH404SEF v 1.3

March 28, 2009 at 9:30 pm #298759usually, its a case of incorrect/improper configurations/linking more than the component giving problems. sadly, its very difficult and tedious to diagnose such problems which is why I normally suggest turning it off if I think its a SEF problem.
if you need to have SEF, im afraid you’ve gotta try to debug it slowly without my help. 🙂
March 28, 2009 at 9:34 pm #298761OK I upgrade to the latest version. Now I just need to know, is there a way that the links within the actual pages can work so that they do not reset the menu?
