    I am using Joomla 2.5 and JA_purity_ii template and JAT3 2.0 Framework.
The spotlights (top or bottom) are not showing up. on my site. IE, Firefox no matter. I see references to “spotlight” in templates/ja_purity_ii/template.css, but where else should I look to enable this? I can’t find it in Module Manager either.

Also, where is the copyright file located for this template?
    Thanks,
    tdellum

Did you also add the spotlight position within the Template_Details.xml file?

    Thanks TomC:
Below is the content of positions in my Template_Details.xml file. Its basically the Template_details.xml file in the ja_t3_blank template.
How do I add the reference to top spotlight and bottom spotlight?

    Thanks
    <positions>
    <position>hornav</position>
    <position>breadcrumbs</position>
    <position>search</position>
    <position>banner</position>
    <position>left</position>
    <position>right</position>
    <position>top</position>
    <position>user1</position>
    <position>user2</position>
    <position>user3</position>
    <position>user4</position>
    <position>user5</position>
    <position>user6</position>
    <position>user7</position>
    <position>user8</position>
    <position>user9</position>
    <position>user10</position>
    <position>user11</position>
    <position>footer</position>
    <position>syndicate</position>
    <position>debug</position>

If the position is called “spotlight,” then you would simply add the following line to the list above . . .

    <blockquote><position>spotlight</position></blockquote>

It really doesn’t matter where in the list you add the above …. though, just because it makes me feel better, I usually insert it someplace within the general order of where it should be.

Those spotlights at the top and bottom – are they not referenced as “spotlight”? Or are they simply userXX?
Anyway, I will try your suggestion and report back here.

Thanks for your time; much appreciated.

Might you be able to provide the url of the site you’re working on and/or provide a screenshot of what it is you are wanting to accomplish?

    Yes, the site: http://www.offagrams.org/joomla258/

The feature I am trying to incorporate is spotlight, just like at the bottom of this JA page – the portion with black background.

I modified Templates_Details.xml file as suggested; I can now see “top spotlight” as a link type/position option, but stll no show on frontpage.
    Thanks,
