Why don’t you provide every template with a simple sql dump?
    It would be very helpful!!

Please if anyone has one …just PM me…or post it here..

Or else moderators please help!! It is so difficult to set alla the plugins and modules in the right position just to test the template with our own data..

    Thanks in advance..

Im sorry but i dont actually understand your request.

Why would you want a sql dump? If you use quickstart and install sample data then you have a exact copy of the demo site.

And if you want to test with your own data then why would you need a sql dump provided by ja?

quickstart and sample data don’t put the modules in the correct position!!
Nothing works as well as in the demo!

Do you have a solution? Or what am i doing wrong?

    My question isn’t answered yet..
I pressed wrong button in the forum..

I am still waiting for your help.

    Thanks again!

The quickstart installs an exact copy of the demo website, with all the modules in the right position just like they are on the demo page.

I dont know exactly what you have done so its hard to say what might have gone wrong.

You are sure you selected the “install sample data” during the installation?

And did you start in a clean directory and in a clean database?

Yes, i made all these classic steps..
but the modules are located in other positions..unlike demo website…
Even the small pictures beside the top menu don’t appear…they are inside the folder..but they don’t appear..
I tried another joomla template from another club, with the difference that they give an sql dump of the demo.
The demo site was cloned in my server only when i imported the sql file through phpmyadmin..
Does anyone have a simple sql file? or the sql dump of the demo site? Anybody? Anything?

Got a live url so we can see how it looks?

And once again you dont need a sql dump, but you seem to be confinsed this is the solution so if you want to wait on that is fine 😉

Those sql files are located in the folder you got when downloading. Folder named installation/sql
