When I save a K2 item I get the following message:

1054 Unknown column 'labels' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO bunk_jak2filter_taxonomy (`type`,`title`,`asset_id`,`option_id`,`labels`,`num_items`) VALUES ('category', 'category', '1', '0', 'Bunkhouses', '0')

I’ve tried reinstalling JA K2 filter but I still have the problem. I can add the ‘labels’ field to the taxonomy table but will there be other related problems?

    Hi there
Please try to create label field into bunk_jak2filter_taxonomy

    Thank you,

I’ve added the ‘labels’ column and I’ve now got an entry in the taxonomy table from a K2 item, but now when I update one of the extra fields I get the message

    1062 Duplicate entry '3-0-xfield' for key 'asset_idx' SQL=INSERT INTO bunk_jak2filter_taxonomy (`type`,`title`,`asset_id`,`option_id`,`labels`,`num_items`) VALUES ('xfield', 'xfield', '3', '0', '123', '0')

The Joomla version is 3.4.1, PHP is 5.4.28 and the JA K2 Filter is 1.1.9

    Hi,

Please ignore the answer of VietVu.

    Tried to Re-index in back-end >> component >> JA K2 Filter.

If problem still persist, PM me your site URL, admin account, and FTP account.

By ignore the previous answer, do you mean I should now delete the column ‘labels’ that I’ve added to the taxonomy table?

Yes, it’s not a right way to fix this issue.

Did you try to re-index ? Could you tell me the result ?

re-indexing did not make any difference, I still get the error message.
I am not confident about using JA K2 Filter with these basic problems, surely a column missing from a table is just a simple SQL installation script fault?

I guess you get this error after upgrade JA K2 filter to latest version. Normally after upgrade, JA K2 filter still work fine, but we don’t understand why the SQL script doesn’t run on your site.
So the best thing is, try to uninstall JA K2 Filter on your site, remove JA K2 Filter table from database and reinstall then re-index.

If it doesn’t work PM me your site URL, admin account and FTP account.

This is a NEW 3.4.1 Joomla site with K2 Filter 1.1.9, so there is now upgrade involved. There is hardly any data involved just a few test cases. I have removed and reinstalled but there is still the same problem with missing ‘labels’ column.
