    Im trying to sort out the issue i am having with Ja Larix and virtuemart with SSL. It seems that alot of stuff are still only http: when they should be https:

    I have the correct secure url set in virtuemart – https://www.site.com

    In IE7 when the dialog box pops up and you click show both secure and non secure you see the site how it should be, but if you only click on show only secure it shows the site without the template site’s css and images.

    Images with address with http: instead of https:

    images/bullet-list.gif
    images/shadow-right.gif
    images/shadow-left.gif
    images/logo.gif
    images/mainnav-bg.gif
    images/mainnav-sep.gif
    images/pathway-right-bg.gif
    images/pathway-bg.gif
    images/search-bg.gif
    images/mainwrap-right-bg.gif
    images/mainwrap-bg.gif
    images/top-border-c.gif
    images/top-border-r.gif
    images/dot.gif
    images/top-border-l.gif
    images/but-bg.gif
    images/bullet-list3.gif
    images/footer-right.gif
    images/footer-left.gif
    images/v-dot.gif

    When i click on Checkout i then do View Source in IE7 and then have put below what has a path without the https: prefix –

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://www.site.com/templates/system/css/system.css" type="text/css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://www.site.com/templates/system/css/general.css" type="text/css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://www.site.com/templates/ja_larix/css/editor.css" type="text/css" />
    <link href="http://www.site.com/templates/ja_larix/css/template_css.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    <link href="http://www.site.com/templates/ja_larix/css/ja-vm.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    <link href="http://www.site.com/templates/ja_larix/css/ja-news.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://www.site.com/templates/ja_larix/scripts/mootools.v1.1.js"></script>
    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://www.site.com/templates/ja_larix/scripts/ja.script.js"></script>

    <script src="http://www.site.com/templates/ja_larix/ja_menus/ja_moomenu/ja.moomenu.js" language="javascript" type="text/javascript" ></script>

    <link href="http://www.site.com/templates/ja_larix/css/colors/default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    <a href="http://www.site.com/" class="pathway">Home</a> <img src="/templates/ja_larix/images/arrow.png" alt="" /> Store</span>

    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://www.site.com/templates/ja_larix/scripts/vm_stuff.js"></script>

    THis can be due to that Joomlart have renamed most of the Joomla parameters to their own.

    still wondering if someone will be able to let me know how i can fix this issue, or what i have done for this to occur.

    At the moment, the site has the warning coming up on every step of the checkout process which is really annoying for the customer. how can i make the template call for secure https: address.

    thanks

    Do you have a shared SSL? the warning will come then if i am correct.
    Hmmmmm, from where do you have the SSL now?

    sorry what do you mean by from where do you have the SSL now?

    i just got the webhosts to install SSL on the site. It was working fine with VM1.0.14 and now i have upgraded to VM1.1.2 and this error is occurring. I asked over at the VM forums and they say its because of images etc not being from HTTPS. I checked the source of the checkout pages, and noticed that none of the template paths have HTTPS.

    Does this happen to anyone else with this template?
