Yes, I even tested it again! It’s working normally until I installed JAT3 plug-in/component. The current generation browsers won’t consider “HTTP” references even in HTTPS. But If you link-up any files with direct HTTP reference, then browser troughs HTTPS warning messages.

Here with JAT3, it embedded, YouTube video tutorial and other links in Theme configuration page which is the root cause for this!

There are no updates available for JA Edenite template. However I reinstalled the board and installed latest copy of JAT3 plug-in v1.3.4. Still the same issue. Please see the attached image!

    ok a few of things.
#1 thats not how you update all your software for joomlart, this video will show you the proper way
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_bTuK_5aeY

#2 you should probably follow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCj5ruPwufU
to make your’s and everyone life a bit easier while this is going on.

    #3 I’d temporarily restore joomla’s default .htaccess

last 2 are ASSUMING you’ve contacted your host and arranged for an SSL. If you haven’t then the error your seeing is appropriate

Well, previosuly I freshly installed the board and gave login details to Hung Nguyen. He log-in and confirmed the problem. I’m aware of doing upgrades with both Joomla and Joomlart. Last time, I even reinstalled the entire board from scratch.

I’ve proper SSL from 3rd party and everything working fine until I navigate to JA Template configuration page! It doesn’t matter with .htaccess since I’m talking about Joomla backend (Administration.) Even Joomla didn’t conatin any .htaccess file in /administrator/ folder.

Note that I tested more than 30 times! Please see Hung’s reply here:

    Thanks meratechstuff for the info,

.htaccess applys to the entire site UNLESS another .htaccess in a child folder overrides it. You stated you know how to update but the image shows you’ve not used the proper method to keep your software current.

I use T3 AND SSL and can assure you it works perfectly well. To backup my statement
Please don’t assume just because I ask you to do some basic function that I’m blowing you off. Thats infact NOT my intent @ all.
I’m confident that should you follow the steps I’ve outlined you’ll be able to track down this issue quickly.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

I will reinstall the board with fresh copy of Joomla v1.7.1 and JA Edentite and JAT 3 v1.3.4 plug-in. Also I’m using latest stable build of Chrome browser. I will also test it with both Firefox and IE and will get back to you shortly.

I highly suspect the new additions “YouTube” and “Theme Help” sections. Also make sure we’re not linking any files (.js files) from other sites (Google Code etc.)

    yep your correct.
Now the real question is… is it really important that we’re in SSL mode @ that point? Not linking to Google Fonts kinda defeats alot of features if we have to limit them to only the installed set.

    Well,

We’ve more than 20 editors log-in into site back-end to publish articles. It’s really confusing when the browser displays non-secure warning messages every time! We’re trying to develop a very stable professional site in 100% W3C validation.

We’re in the situation to hold the migration until, this issue resolves! The previous version of the theme (original version for Joomla 1.5) works without any issues. We’re migrating entire Joomla 1.5 site to 1.7 and stuck with this issue.

Any further help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
