Hello there gonna write this, but dont get offended or mad about critique.

JA is one of the best Template companies out there but lately, as heard throughout forum as well as Joomla community (other forums, twitter, facebook) it is going down in reputation, and very fast.

WE AS USERS want to know why, whats going on, why this change?

Do you have lack of staff?

Lack of designers?

Lack of programmers?

Or simply you don’t care and you have as proven so far the leadership who have no clue how to lead successful company?

Please dont answer with annswers that beat around bush, that give us only BS and never answer any of the questions that are underlying causes for poor performance of JA lately.

CASE1:

JAT3v3 plugin, 17 MAJOR BUGS open????? AND you have one person working yesterday on it, before that last tuesday and BEFORE THAT DEC 26?????? BE real guys, if you want your users happy GET BUGS out PRONTO, FAST, YESTERDAY… its really amazing that you let us wait a month before footer problem in Mero gets resolved, and still didnt. Good companies work on the current big issues full time, until resolved and not 3 times per few hours in last month and half almost.

You have been the best company by far few years ago, and now even with support you lack a lot.

If you have problems talk to COMMUNITY, blogs get updated here and there with irrelevant information. No answers are ever given as to regard to updates, to plans for future.

COME ON wake up from the winter sleep and lets do some work, GET with program guys, TALK TO US!!!!!! Tell us why it takes so long to fix recent issues, why has design gone downhill, why do you guys communicate less and less with us, we keep asking for better stuff, people tell you what they want but all we hear from JA is SILENCE!!!

Please guys i beg you to communicate with us, and get your priorities straight, PRIORITIES should be US, our wishes, and thoughts, not what you want. Thats how you make customers happy, please let us help you help US, and lets make JA best again.

Hi Splico,

Let’s me address your concerns separately as belows.

1. T3v3, after it’s first stable release, has evolved out of JA internal development. We have moved the issue tracker out of our internal JIRA. It is now hosted at https://github.com/joomlart/t3v3
As you can see, there are a lot of commits from our team as well many code contribution/ pull requests from other developers.

At the moment, we are working hard on the Megamenu which will be a major feature of the next week release.

The issue is reported on 23th, we provided the solution on 25th. That is not a month

If you can give a specific URL to the complaint/problem, I would be very appreciated. I am personally going to fix it right away!

Here are a few things I would like to cover in an upcoming blog/forum announcement posts:

– Joomla 2.5 & 3.0 product update
– T3v3 release & Roadmap
– End of life to some of our product.

As far as your upcoming post it would be helpful for many users to know which of the templates are you planning to update to T3v3, J.3, as well as road-map for those, with keeping in mind that many of us like time-frames so we can make plans and promises to our clients who depend on dates. I know timeframes are hard to keep up with but we can at least know weeks, months, years etc.

And I hope you guys also tell us which templates are coming to end of life, dates, as well as some of extensions end of life dates too or updates incoming?? since many of extensions are still only J1.5 so i assumed they are gone as far as development is concerned.

Basically List of ongoing extensions would help out.
