hi,
instead of a slideshow, i just want the top image to be static. easy, just put one image in the slideshow directory, right? seems like it should work, but i get this weird black border on the left and top of the image. the image is sized at 960 x 250, and this is the size i set in the module parameters. i’ve tried changing a bunch of different things in the parameters and the css but nothing seems to work. i’ve attached an image because my site is not hosted live yet.
the original template i had applied to this site was JA Nickel. the ja-slideshow2 module should transfer over seamlessly from Nickel to Lead, right? if not, maybe this is the root of my problem?
has anyone had a similar problem or does anyone have any idea what else could be causing this? sorry, i’m a little new to joomla and css.
thanks,
-dave
January 21, 2010 at 11:06 pm #330009so i decided to just comment out the code that calls the slideshow and hardcode the image right into the HTML.
so in your index.php file, it would look like this right around line 132:
<!–<jdoc:include type=”modules” name=”ja-slideshow” style=”” />–>
<img src=”images/yourdirectory/yourimage.jpg”>i commented out the module code rather than deleting in case i want to go back and utilize the slideshow later.
