April 4, 2013 at 10:00 pm #186456I know Leo has moved this from a ticket support to general template issue but I thought I should post it here in case anyone is having the same problems with Sticky Menu and Off Canvas Navigation on JA Mitius for Joomla 3.0 or has found a solution.
I made the required adjustments as per the blog entry and the Sticky Menu stays in place for the full size but falls down to the original main menu position when size reduction reaches close to Smartphone and is no longer ‘Sticky’ so the scrolling does not work correctly with the Menu staying at the top.
The Off Canvas menu is there (but no background).
Leo has the access information if anyone from Joomlart needs to look at the site to fix the problem.
Thank you in advance!
If the following changes could be made or guidance provided on how to make them it would also be appreciated:
The Menu format and colour scheme for JA Argo would work well with JA Mitius but a number of changes need to be made:
Adding the logo name, ‘add this’ + sign, login and search icons to the JA Mitius Sticky Menu. The current JA Login and Search positions could be changed in the modules.
The Argo mobile menu off canvas colour scheme could be used for JA Mitius.

April 22, 2013 at 7:56 am #490652Hi,
I’m really sorry for my late response. We have recently updated our JA Mitius template 3.0 to run on T3 1.2.2, it means that the Sticky menu selection & Off Canvas Navigation feature now appears on JA Mitius template. So, pls BACKUP your website, then upgrade with our T3 1.2.2 via JAEM to enjoy our new updated feature on JA Mitius.
Regards,

April 23, 2013 at 12:37 am #490741Hi Leo,
Thank you for the update, nice work, I hope my comments below are easy to follow!
I originally followed the step D instructions for a ‘Sticky’ Menu on JA Mitius 3.0+ from the blog post, but removed the (added) ‘navbar-fixed-top navbar-collapse-fixed-top’ from the <nav id=”ja-mainnav” class=”wrap ja-mainnav navbar-fixed-top navbar-collapse-fixed-top”> code line in the mainnav.php file before installing T3 1.2.3 and JA Mitius 1.0.2 to my site.
The Off Canvas Navigation feature on my site is now similar to the current JA Mitius demo.
The upgrade removed the (replace Mitius) logo and Sticky/Off Canvas Navigation adjustments you made to our website under my earlier ticket support request, putting the default JA Mitius logo back, but it doesn’t matter as I added our logo via the JA Mitius template theme ‘logo image’ select option, adjusting padding and height in the custom.css file as follows:
.logo {
float: left;
padding-left: 25px;
}
.logo-image a {
height: 80px;
}The above method allows me to keep the default logo.png image details unchanged, avoiding any overwrites from future template upgrades.
The upgrade changed the mainnav file line code to <nav id=”ja-mainnav” class=”wrap ja-mainnav navbar-collapse-fixed-top”> making the Smartphone menu ‘Sticky’ but did not add navbar-fixed-top (as per the blog post), so the tablet and full size do NOT have ‘Sticky’ menus (matching the current demo status).
The problem I mentioned in my original post for this thread was caused by the navbar-fixed-top command:
“the Sticky Menu stays in place for the full size but falls down to the original main menu position when size reduction reaches close to Smartphone and is no longer ‘Sticky’ so the scrolling does not work correctly with the Menu staying at the top.”
Therefore adding the navbar-fixed-top command produced the opposite result to the current situation (sticky/scrolling for full/tablet size but not smartphone) and I assume that is why it has been left out, so there is no ‘sticky/scrolling’ option currently available for full/tablet sizes.
I don’t know if there are plans for a Sticky/scrolling option for full/tablet sizes, but if there is, my preference would be to leave the Selection Menu and everything above it as ‘Sticky’ and scroll only items below where the Selection Menu is currently located on the demo for those sizes. The current smartphone off canvas layout upgrade works very well.
The one thing I noticed was the top (footer) menu disappears in smartphone size. They may only be alias menu items in the demo but I use them as normal menu links to data, is it possible for the top (footer) menu to appear in the off canvas menu selection or visible somewhere else on the smartphone size?

April 23, 2013 at 10:06 am #490811Hi dealthenuts,
– Sticky/Scrolling on tablet/full sizes.
Currently, the Sticky Menu selection feature of our T3 1.2 framework on JA Mitius template appears on mobile view & tablet (which has screen’s width smaller than or equal to 750px ). And we don’t have any plans for applying the Sticky Menu for other biggger tablet/desktop views.
* It mean that there is no Sticky menu on iPad (768px width).If you want to get this feature on bigger tablet/desktop view, you need to follow our T3 settings document:
http://t3-framework.org/documentation/t3-settings.html#megamenu-setting
I guess you can do it easily. But, since it isn’t our default option, you also need to customize the header, dropdown menu & other css styles also to fit with Sticky Menu.– The footer menu appears in Off-canvas menu
No. The footer menu is a Menu module at footermenu position, not the Main Menu. So, It can”t appear in Off-canvas Menu.* By default, the footer block shows our copyright & T3 footer logo on the smartphone (mobile view) only. In general, It can be showed but It will take a lot of time for customizations & testing the result.
Regards,
