Hello,

I activated a left module and has html link (hard-coded) pointing to a content.

I set the left module to be visible in Home only but if I click the link, it still displays the module. I migrated from 1.0.x to 1.5.x. This was not a ‘problem’ in 1.0.*.

hardcoded to link: “………index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=142”

but forced to: “…….index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=142&Itemid=1”

Hi
That because joomla auto get Itemid of Home for that link
You can create a menu have link to “index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id= 142”, you will have Itemid of that menu, example is 10
When fix hard code for module, you can fix link “index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id= 142&Itemid=10”
