Lots of promises, but no delivery. Time to move on ???

I like the design but don’t care about JomSocial as I use CB.

UPDATE: 20th June 2011

Just spent a while checking out the J1.6 Beta and I’m pleased to say it looks OK.
The features it has makes it one of the best in the JA joomla range.

since this JA SOCIAL template is not yet Joomla 1.6 compatible, why not test it more to make it Joomla 1.7 compatible.. Joomla has just released Joomla 1.7 Aplha Release http://www.joomla.org/announcements/release-news/5372-joomla-17-alpha-released.html

altough there is a upgrade process, but it will be nice if this was tested throughly by JA TEAM.. all the best..

I think – moreso than an upgrade for J1.6 – more people are wanting the JA Social upgrade for JomSocial 2.2.x
So, whether it’s for J 1.6 or J1.5 – so long as the upgrade is compatible with the current version of JomSocial, I think many will be happy.

Seriously … having the “latest and greatest” isn’t always a “do or die” necessity. So long as you can have your site running/functioning properly and efficiently, THAT is what is most important … not an extra button in the backend or a rearrangement of the admin panel.

certain ppl use Jom Social, certain ppl dont use it.. we dont want to waste time waiting for Joomla 1.6 compatible.. its been such a huge gap waiting for this compatibility.. J1.6 is needed to make the site perform much faster and smoother compared to the J1.5.. so the developer should focus more into this issue rather than as i said before “creating new templates”.. take care of what u hv now instead of beginning something new..

Really lot of delays.. Job Board.. JA Social and others.. really very slow.. If this continues.. lots and lots of members will move on to different providers.. Tired of hearing: “soon”..

exactly, we are tired of hearing “soon”.. for simple users, its easy to wait for J1.6 even if it takes a long time but for myself, i have a huge site, more than 900+ menus, 3080+ articles etc etc etc.. its not a easy task to deal with it, so stop wasting our times with your magic word of “soon”.. wakeup developers!!

I just opened an account with http://www.youjoomla.com and will not renew subcription with joomlart. They even ready and released demo version of Joomla 1.7. Looks to me future proof.

regretted choosing JA SOCIAL template.. no compatible version for J1.6 for so many months.. seriously it is a lousy way of business.. very sad…

JA Social for Joomla 1.6 has been released. Its beta release but its out, with Kunena forum support.
