Can’t seem to get the stock level showing. Ticked the box in configuration but still a no show.
I seem to remember Vintas had a very neat way of showing thisCheers

April 23, 2013 at 10:21 pm #490862Hi,
Unfortunately I can’t get a screen shot of what it should be like as our old Vintas site no longer functions. There are a few strange things happening which might be connected. In a fresh install (different folder) with Quickstart with no modifications and supplied default settings, the Add to Cart didn’t respond or function. I tried cleaning cache, in browsers, IE, Firefox, Chrome and on my android browsers with no luck. I eventually got it to work by changing in template manager optimise js to “join” and it worked but the sign in on the top bar returned a 404 component not found. This is no big deal as sign in works in Account Maintenance. The ‘show products’ is ticked by default in Quickstart but it doesn’t show front end. Now I’ve just installed MIx in a new folder and getting the same scenario, ie Add to Cart issue and no stock numbers showing although in Mix, it shows the text. I notice in your demo of Vintas the stock level icon (which is our prefered) doesn’t show either.
In the VM template all the activate css styles and j script are ticked, and I’ve tried unticking VM j query and Google jquery with no change. This could just be a case of a bad day in the office so may be I should take a day off and come back when the planets move on a bit
In an ideal world we would go with the Mix template with the Vintas stock level icon which showed three bars. If we show numbers then our clients tend to buy out the hard to get stock leaving other clients without.

April 24, 2013 at 6:28 am #490882Just an update on the above and resolved most of the issues.
Firstly the sku not showing up is a joomla thing and it only shows in category layout, not home page. I just had to make sure ‘notify . .” was ticked..
Next resolved add to cart not responding by the following settings. In vm templates all elements in activate css styles and java script are ticked – this is the default anyway, then in vintas template optimise css is linked files and optimise js is join. The sign in doesn’t work when these settings are used but I get around that by a Dealer Login in the main menu, so still not 100% resolved but at least we will have an operational site
