On the frontpage of this website I use the JA twitter module:

    http://www.vagnsangill.dk/

However, if I write the characters æ,ø and å (letters in the Danish alphabet) on my twitter tweets, the strange character is shown in the JA Twitter module…

    How do I fix that?

    Dear weissefar!

I think that the problem is from the charset, at the monent the site is using the English language having the “UTF-8” charset, Pls try to install a language package which support display your language and you set this language as default language.

    Good luck

    Thank you for your reply!

Actually the site is already using Danish language. I have installed a Danish language pack and set it to default. Everything joomla core text is translated to Danish, but not the texts show from twitter tweeets.

Should I do more than installing the Danish language pack and set it to default?
