    There’s some strange lock icon characters in the admin login fields when using Mac Firefox and Chrome but not Safari that make login impossible…. any ideas how to fix this?:

    [/URL]

    In Safari 5.1 the site runs fine and I can login normal but lock icons like above show in Chrome and Firefox. But my buddie tells me he has them in his Safari. I’m using Mac 10.6.8… I don’t know what Mac OS my buddy is using.

    Here’s the link… tell me if you see the lock icons and whether it’s the template or Joomla… I used JoomlaArts quick install and updated to 1.7.1:

    Thanks!

    Hi johnnyusa!
    I saw your post in Joomla.org as well and the reader there advised you the template was not ready for 1.7/
    He is correct as we have on our page here the following:
    <blockquote>JOOMLA! 1.7

    Not Available Yet. We are working hard on releasing 1.7 templates for you. See more detail on our blog.</blockquote>
    Please check back and hopefully we will have that done soon!
    JA TELINE iii is ready though so be sure that we didn’t confuse you by posting so many versions and you got the wrong download maybe.
    To verify, go to the download page, redownload. Uninstall the template from your site, then reinstall the correct template files you had just downloaded, see if this does not resolve the issue!

    But I downloaded the Teline 1.7 quickstart file. That’s what I uploaded. I didn’t install Joomla 1.7 or the Teline separately. Works fine for me so I’m even more confused. I’m not home right now but I’ll double check my downloads later.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Go to this File: http://redeyelove.com/templates/ja_teline_iii/css/template.css

    replace this code with

    #form-login-username .inputbox { background-image: url(../images/icon-user.gif); } #form-login-password .inputbox { background-image: url(../images/icon-key.gif); }

    With

    #form-login-username .inputbox { background-image: url("../images/icon-user.gif") no-repeat 0 3px; } #form-login-password .inputbox { background: url("../images/icon-key.gif") no-repeat 0 4px; }

    So does this mean it’s a bug in the login and Teline is 1.7 ready and I’m not going crazy? :-[

    Thanks Guys!

    Chavan are you suggesting I should be using Teline IV instead of III v2?
