I placed two Custom HTML modules in User area 6 and they show up nice and working in the site as two tabs, but whatever custom content I place in the HTML, they keep showing up with a light grey bar above and beneath it. (see attachment)

I tried editing evey CSS field I could find but cannot change the way the content of the custom modules are shown in the tabs.

How do i go about changing the content? (I would really love to place images in there with NO margins or padding so they fill the entire tab).

Any help (or documentation for that matter) is greatly appreciated.
