    Hi there,

I notice that if I do not have a default ” Mijoshop home” menu item selected that the “my account” and other menu items have the url component/mijoshop/ so when I do select the “Mijoshop home” menu item it’s not styled the same as the “latest”

My question is, how can I style the default “Mijoshop home” like the “latest” page with the layout chooser and the sort by etc.

    Thanks in advance 🙂

What do you mean by the ‘latest‘ page here? Could you give me the URL of that page and screenshot to illustrate how you wish to achieve?

In bookshop package default home page (Menu Item Type) is “Latest Products”, show latest products from mijoShop.
We need add latest products style for “MijoShop home” layout compatible with bookshop.

    Hi Saguaros,

The latest product page that I refer to is the default shop page, like in the demo or like the homepage on my site that you have login info for. Just I need to have a mijoshop home menu item enabled so that all of the cart, user details etc URL’s do not have something like /component/mijoshop/xyz

    Hi Saguaros,

Is there any update on this question? Just I think it’s really important because with a home-page set all of the inner url’s for mijoshop are going to look like mydomain.com/mijoshop/edit-account

    Thanks,
    Richard

    Hi Richard,

That menu in the footer is Mijoshop All-in-one module with name of ‘My account’ in footer 2 position. Here is its backend settings as our demo site: http://prntscr.com/3cax7t

Thanks but I don’t think you are understanding us on this one. We need a menu item set with default mijoshop just like virtuemart home-page so that the url’s do not contain /mijoshop or /component/virtuemart

If you look at my site it might be easier for you,

phanes.co.uk/shop (this is the mijoshop default home-page menu item)

Now you will see on my home-page phanes.co.uk the “my account” link is phanes.co.uk/shop/account/account if I disable this menu item “my account” link is phanes.co.uk/mijoshop/account/account

So I must have a default mijoshop home-page menu item set. But the default home-page has no styling see phanes.co.uk/shop

Ideally I need phanes.co.uk/shop to look like this page phanes.co.uk otherwise I can’t have sef urls

Do you mean that you want the page: phanes.co.uk/shop has same style with the home page: phanes.co.uk (include modules, latest products, etc…)? If so, you need to change the menu item type of the shop page. As the home page, it has type of Mijoshop Latest Products (at this moment, its type is ‘Mijoshop Home’). Additionally, you open each module being shown in the home page, check menu assignment section and assign it to shop page also.

Correct me if I’m wrong and send me some screenshot illustrates how you want it should be.

    Hi Saguaros,

Thanks for that but we are still a little apart.

Yes I want /shop to be styled the same as home-page (latest products style) but I need the menu item to be (mijoshop home) and look the same as the latest products.

The reason we need this is so we can remove /mijoshop/ from our URL’s

If you only have (latest products) menu item assigned then all of the mijoshop pages will have /mijoshop/ in them

@gringo211985 and @mambo.ir: Right now its difficult to guess the issue and give solution to you. I’m afraid I’m not quite getting what you are mentioning above. It would be awesome if you can possibly include a screenshot and description on that particular screenshot on what you would like to do. It would help to understand the issues and give you the solution. But I have guessed and fixed the problem from latest module.

+ Download my my attached file

+ Copy it into components/com_mijoshop/opencart/catalog/view/theme/bookshop/template/module/latest.tpl file

+ Don’t forget to backup old file before making this changes.

Let me know if I’m wrong.

Ok so here goes, my best explanation with images to help explain,

    Current home-page menu setting,

    How the current home-page looks

I want to change the home-page menu item to “mijoshop home” like in pic below,

When I enable the “mijoshop home” the home-page looks like the pic below,

You can see that there is no grid layout or styling like the “latest products” menu item.

The part that is missing from the “mijoshop home” menu item is the grid layout, sort fields etc. like in the pic below,

@gringo211985: Now, I understand your request. You can try this :

    + Backup components/com_mijoshop/opencart/catalog/view/theme/default/template/module/latest.tpl file

+ Copy components/com_mijoshop/opencart/catalog/view/theme/bookshop/template/product/latest.tpl file and paste it into components/com_mijoshop/opencart/catalog/view/theme/default/template/module/ folder

+ Go to Home and change Menu Item Type from Latest product to home

Let me know if it helps
