Hello all,
I wonder why your demo site looks that much different to mine. E.g., how can I achieve that all articles are showing up in the list (see screenshot “joomlart_filter.png”)
Thanks for your help.
Best regards

October 11, 2013 at 9:59 pm #508782Hi,
Seems like during the latest update there’s no longer a quickstart for JA K2 search at this moment, i will try to find out about that and update you as soon as possible.
Regards
Manos

October 14, 2013 at 5:02 am #508873Hello Torsten,
It’s the setting on Menu item, go to backend >> Menu >> then config your menu item as this capture: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/787/8373841255.png
October 15, 2013 at 10:48 am #509039Hi Luna Garden,
o.k., tried it with your hint, but then I get a category listing (see attached file category_joomlart.png).
What I was looking for is that one: http://demo.joomlart.com/joomla-extensions/Best regards

Hi Torsten,
In ‘Select category’ param, did you choose a specific category ?
October 16, 2013 at 11:54 am #509166Hi Luna Garden,
tried it both ways: choosing a specific category and also leaving it on the default setting “Choose category”.
Also with and without “Fetch items from children categories”.And what about the “Quick Start Package” that Manos mentioned ?

PM me your site URL and account admin, I’ll check the problem on your site. And also please upgrade JA K2 Filter on your site to latest version (if it’s not)
And what about the “Quick Start Package” that Manos mentioned ?

I think Manos has mistaken with other extension, JA K2 Filter doesn’t have Quick start Package.October 23, 2013 at 4:20 pm #510006Hi,
I´ve sent you a PM, could you please check ?
Many Thanks

October 24, 2013 at 2:42 am #510041Hello Torsten,
I have checked your site and see that all articles are showing up in the list, not the categories list. You can compare between K2 Articles and Article list in K2 Filter is shown the same.
I think it’s because Articles show only Title and image so you misunderstood, you can set to show more K2 Article detail in K2 filter list by going to backend >> K2 Filter >> Option >> Item View Options tabs.
October 26, 2013 at 9:41 am #510254Hi Luna Garden,
not sure if I know what you mean. How can I Change the Settings so that the categories list is showing ?
Or how can I Change the Settings so that it Looks like your demo site at http://demo.joomlart.com/joomla-extensions/Best regards

October 28, 2013 at 3:06 am #510323Hello Torsten,

How can I Change the Settings so that the categories list is showing ?

At this time, JA K2 Filter doesn’t support to show the Categories list, it only shows the item list.
how can I Change the Settings so that it Looks like your demo site at http://demo.joomlart.com/joomla-extensions/

As I said before, you change the settings in Menu Manager and in option of Component K2 Filter. I will give you the capture of demo for you to compare:
1. Menu setting: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/800/9443457831.png
2. Setting in Component K2 Filter:
– Search Result Item Layout: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/800/9762317688.png
– Item View Options: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/800/6661081992.png
– Extra-fields View Options: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/800/6343252004.png
3. Setting in Module K2 Filter: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/800/7053180098.pngHope this helps.
