Hi,

Currently I’m using split menu.

I have a child menu to link to a Kunena category. Clicking on the child menu brings up Kunena perfectly fine, however split menu disappear. Seems like it’s not linked to the child menu or something.

Any advise will be appreciated!

Hi,
Would you mind give me your site URL for live checking ?
Btw as my known, you should use menu alias instead directly point to component.
I’m using like that in my own site http://jooservices.com

hi,
by logic if you want to have sub menu in main menu that use kunena submenu. you should not link this submenu to kunena component. because it’ll make another menu item. in this case, use menu item alias will help you.
as far I know, kunena is good in this case. Jomsocial still have this bug.

I’m using menu item alias but it still does not get active when selected.

Jomsocial works fine but not in Kunena 1.7.

Hi,
I got why.
Because your Kunena menu is out side of Main Menu. So of course, when you make menu alias to Kunena, it’s also mean you leaving main menu – Home.
So, you can’t see submenu of Home menu.
In this case you MUST make Kunena menu items into home – submenu.
