Have you tried to disable your slideshow in home page

probably a JS conflict with it

Yes turning off the slide show works – anyone have a solution that would allow me to have the slideshow and Mega menus? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The problem is in your Slideshow

maybe you can try to use the Ja_Slideshow provided with the Ja_Travel template

the Ja-slideshow in this position created other problems with navigation. + unfortunately the Ja-slideshow just doesn’t look as good and the set-up is not as flexible. I just want a simple slide show that I can control the crop of the thumbnails + the images and links. I love JA but this module needs to be updated.

So there is no way to solve the conflict?

If anyone else has this problem the solution is to change jquery library handling to load v1.6.2 (local copy).

Save and close clean jat3 cache and it is solved.
