January 10, 2014 at 7:52 am #518012Hi Ervin,
Hope my answer below would be of help:
– In order to display the linked artist name, make sure that the Show Author and Link Author option are enabled in Article Options of that menu item (backend configuration).
– Our JA Muzic template overrides the Artist single article layout to display the resized full image on the top left of artist page navigation. You just need to upload an image to full image box in Links and Images tab of article backend. The artist name is the title of that article.

January 10, 2014 at 3:53 pm #518079Hi easypc,
You can send me PM with the site’s credentials. I will back to help you check out the issue of display the linked author names from sub-categories.
For the 2nd concern of display the author name and his/her small image on the top left, I just want to add the detailed steps to show a default artist page:
– Create a Joomla article with the title is as same as artist name and upload the artist avatar to Full image box of Images and Links tab as i mentioned.
– Go to backend of that new article and select default-artist in Alternative Layout of Article Options tab.
Just make sure that each article of your sub-category has above 2 configurations, the artist page will display the title and avatar fine then.

January 13, 2014 at 3:02 am #518173Hi Ervin,
I have checked out the site’s credentials you PM me, but unfortunately the admin url is invalid, thus I could not check the menu and artist article’s settings.
Could you re-send me the valid admin url or unblock our IPs address so I can help you to check out these issues?
Our IPs is:
The IP Address is: 115.78.133.200
The host name is: 115.78.133.200

January 13, 2014 at 1:45 pm #518273Hi Ervin,
Thank you for unblocking our IPs address. Two issues of your JA Muzic site have the same reason is that the authors of published articles are not approved by Joomla (com_users).
You know, on the JA Muzic template our devs define the override layout to display the activated users as authors and their related info (name, articles, small avatar). However, the registered users on your site are not activated by logging in at the first time.
You just need to use the registered account to log in and com_users of Joomla will automatically activate that authors. And you will need to do this configuration manually, thus Joomla does not have an option to activate the users in backend.
p/s: You can see the attached snapshots below to understand my explanation.

January 14, 2014 at 2:58 am #518344Hi Ervin,
I found that the new authors (registered users) were not activated yet. In this case, you can try following options:
Option 1: Try to use the author account to log in the backend.
Option 2: If you do not want to active the author accounts manually, you can go to phpMyadmin >> _users table >> then find the inactivated users and update the lastvisitDate of them.
Remember to backup the database before proceed any change.

January 15, 2014 at 7:46 am #518516Regarding the artist article layout, it supports ONLY the articles of main category you selected inside Template Config tab >> General of JA Muzic template style. The layout does not support the articles of sub-category, that is why some artist pages do not show the avatar image and home link.
In this case, the only solution is moving all sub-category articles to your selected category called “ELOADOK”. Hope it helps.
