Hi guys,

I’m not new at Joomla, but maybe it’s a beginners question.

I have a domain, i use SEF on it, so when i click a button to get to a section of news it will be displayed as:

http://www.mydomain.com/news

My question is: Is it possible to make a sort of linking, so if i type in http://news.mydomain.com
can i got to the link mentioned above. It’s not really a link to a subdomain with files but to a section of my website.

Is this possible and how to make this, with .htaccess? And is it possible to make more of such links. Or is it not possible and do i need to find another way.

I hope someone can help me out on this and tell me how i can do it (or not).

I have an little update:

Just made an cvo directory on my server and in that i placed an index.php who redirects to my voetbal section. So http://cvo.froubuurt.nl works, but i like the url to be cloaked so it doesn’t show:

http://www.froubuurt.nl/voetbal but
http://cvo.froubuurt.nl

Is this possible?
