I made the submit article in the user menu public. I get this error message when I try to access it” You are not authorised to view this resource”.

Hi aaron126

Did you check in Admin that the user belongs to ‘Author’ group or above, and not just ‘Registered’?

Apart from what Chris has stated, I hope you know the risk if you make it public. That means everybody, including bots and spammers, can “submit” anything into your page. Do this only if you monitor your site very closely.

I even try to screen the registration, even using captcha, and yet and there are still a few that could get in without prior approval. I was told that there are powerful bots or spammers that could readily bypass Joomla access system — even the Admin page.
