The isssue I am having is that articles submitted via the front end are not published until they have been resaved. That is to say, they need to be saved then opened for edit and saved again. Even if absolutely no changes were made, they will then publish as they should.

If articles are not saved the second time they are not visable either on the front page or in their category. They are however, listed as ‘published’ and ‘front page’ enabled in the back end article manager. They are also listed in the user’s profile ‘Articles’ list in the front end (CB) and may be accessed and successfully resaved from there.

This is true for all articles, to all categories and for all accounts publishing from the front end (even super admin). Articles published from the back end publish correctly on the first save.

I have checked that I have enabled ‘Published’, ‘Publish on the front page’, the ‘start publishing’ and ‘end publishing’ dates etc.

I would be very greatful if someone could help me resolve this issue.

Does this work if you use the default template and default frontpage?

Thanks for replying Manalto. I had almost given up on anyone answering to me.
Yes I have the default template and default front page installed with the same effect.
