    I have the problem with the suffix _testimonial in JA Ruby – city. Nothing happens when I use it in the modul.
    The supporter of joomlart said there is a missing code in the “city.css” of _testimonial.
    Please open templates/ja_ruby/css/colors/city.css file, at about line 179, you will see following code section for _hilite suffix

    div.module_hilite {
    background:#6CA82A url(../../images/city/box-hilite-br.gif) no-repeat scroll right bottom;
    color:#C1E994;
    }
    but I could not find the same code for _testimonial suffix.”

    My question is – why joomlart dont corrects the missing code in their own template? Normaly it´s easy to choose the suffix and it´s all ok. I´m not a programmer. The supporter answered: “I can only notice you for some missing.” (He is a good supporter, but here I cant understand him).
    What shall I do?

    Regards Klaus

    Hallo,
    unfortunately its not so easy.

    Please have a look to the JA Ruby userguide: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-ruby-userguide/
    under “3.2.4 Module Style (Module Class suffix)” you will see mentioned this suffix.

    Is anywhere a separat description for using the JA suffix _testimonial?

    Regards Klaus

    I have the same problem within the default style of this template. The _testimonial suffix doesn’t work. It only shows the horizontal line right under the title, that’s it.

    Does anybody have an idea?

    Thank you!
    Joerg.

    I just answered the same question in a previous thread. I think the problem lies with:

    The testmonial module needs the _testimonial suffix but also needs a div class=bubble tag inserted into the html. If you look at the way it is set up on the demo the coding is like this.

    <div class="bubble">
    <div>
    <div>
    <div>
    <div>
    <div>
    <h3>Testimonials</h3>
    Morbi rhoncus arcu egestas erat, convallis eros laoreet cubilia nulla, integer lectus sequi quisque, nunc suspendisse in a. Tellus massa non mi eget.</div>
    </div>
    </div>
    </div>
    </div>
    <span class="author">J.O.O.M</span><br /> Molestie innonummy Libero</div>

    Give it a try. It should resolve that issue. You can just copy and paste this into the HTML source editor and change the text to what you want it to say.

    I think this should work.

    You do not need to copy the code into an actual file. To set up this “testimonial” module you would do so in the administration section of your website. Create a new custom html module and insert the html code there with the html source editor. Don’t forget to put _testimonial in the module class suffix also.

    I hope that was more clear. Your English is great by the way. 🙂

    Can I just ask – if you need to use the “bubble div” class, what is the point of the _testimonial class?

    Is there a way to make the _testimonial / bubble thing work with the JA Contentslider? So I can populate the content of the testimonial module with content from a category?

    I don’t know why they did it this way. I agree… the _testimonial suffix should be set to work without the bubble class. It would be much easier this way. Maybe just an oversight.

    You might be able to set up the content slider to work with the testimonials. It would probably take some tweaking though.
