Hi
You need to change the Meta data from Menu > Main Menu > Home > Meta data .
Change meta description and keywords with you Meta data .
Also go to global configuration and add your Meta data . Save them and check the site source code .
While on Google search it took some time to re index the data . You can contact to Google webmaster to re-indexing the pages .

Finally, it works! I don’t understand why the metadata is hidden in the menu and overrides the global configuration, but that must be one of those illogical Joomla features… At least the problem is not inJA Sugite. Thanks for the quick help.
