I happened to look at my site via a ipod touch (mobile device) and was surprised/shocked to see that my site logo and its CSS mods were not present. Good thing I checked, there’s no mention of this in the doc.

Instead, the deafault C+ suitcase logo appears. I saw an older post similar to this but it’s not applicable.

    how do I rectify this?

    Cheers,
    G

    Hi,
Can you give me your site URL for looking?
    Thanks

    thanks for your response,

After weeks of not hearing back from any support personnel from Joomlart, I had to set all the layout settings for Handheld, Iphone and Android to the “default” theme.

I know this is a workaround and not a solution but I had to resort to this having no support from Joomlart.

Change the logo on the template and I’m sure you’ll get the same results as I did.

I’m disappointed with this template. I’ve had many issues which have wasted my time (billable hours I have to swallow). Issues which should have been avoided by proper testing prior to moving this template into production.

    Hi,
This is what our developer said to me:
<blockquote>I think he just needs to replace the default iphone logo file, it is the file of templatesja_community_plusimagesiphone-logo.png
    </blockquote>
    Thanks

Thanks Viet. I know I can simply do this to get around the problem.

First, it’s a real hassle as the logo I replaced has different dimensions and therefore i’ve changed some CSS to reflect this. I have a feeling some CSS for the phone layout would have to be changed as well. and what about the other layouts: Handheld Layout, Android Layout.

This means all sorts of changes has to be repeated… just to change a logo.

Secondly… how can one test that it’ll look good on those devices? I was lucky to have a ipod-touch to test to find the initial problem. I don’t want to look like a fool to a client, if he/she happens to go onto the site to find their site comes up with a “suitcase” and other “Community Plus” items.

So from what I can see, the different theme option is useless if one adjusts its size.

    Correct me if I’m wrong.

    G
