December 12, 2011 at 3:51 am #171713When I sign in as the Super Administrator I get a blank screen with the Admin logo on top.
If I sign in as another user the proper Admin shows, like a manager.
Unfortunately, I do not have another super admin user to get in a save things.
I host this site on Godaddy and we tried to look at the database and could not figure how to move another user to Super Administrator or correct the data issue (I’m assuming that is all that is left at this point)
Does anyone know how to change the user to Super Admin via the database?
Does anyone know how to fix the Super Admin? The Super Admin can log into the site just fine, but no Admin screen when log on in the Administration. The site is a Joomlart template, Edenite. I reloaded the template and no changes in the Admin sign-in.
The template is a 1.7.0, even for the template I downloaded today.Should I update with the regular Joomla installation files? It hopefully will not affect the data base.
Now I know to have more than one Super Admin. And back up the data base more often.
Thanks,

December 12, 2011 at 4:16 am #429257Hi
#1. Please try to check your php errors_log to find out error log while logging backend and have blank page
#2. To set another user into Super Administrator please check into
#__user_usergroup_map
And update that user id into group 8 ( Super Administrator ) or any group you want.Thank you

December 12, 2011 at 5:08 am #429262I tried two different users changing to an 8.
:eek:It looks like any super admion user is causing the problem, not the individual user.
Here and there I would get a message logging out: contained an invalid security token.Richard

December 24, 2011 at 5:23 pm #431096I changed users to Manager and even Admin and they allow me acces to the backend. It’s just theSuperuser!
I looked in the database and couldn’t find anything. I reloaded the template and still same thing.
Probably something in the database that may not be apparant like a upper ascii character that doesn’t show on the screen but affects the login.jooservices Friendjooservices
