Hello!
I want to inform JA support and other customers, that my question concerning the joomlart-newsflash module in the “iris” template (see club member forum, my posting from Jan 06 2008) was is not solved for 20 days now!
I got replies from miccas and kashxo (see link above) but no one could solve my problem.

Furthermore I got this answer after my first posting in “customer testimonials” (that has been deleted after 1 day) …

I have the newsflash problem too. It´s not correct solved since 40 days und another user Jana1 now have also this problem.

I think that too much questions in the forum are got 0 replys or got not be solved.

When ever I got help from MfcPhil or from nguoiabcd then it was a very good and nice help and i find the templates looks very well. So I like JA. But too often I got 0 replys to questions and other customers have the same problem and this is shit!!!!! Why answer the moderators often not to questions?
In the last 2 minutes I count the first 5 sites only of “extentions” and I find 34 posts since January 2008 hih got 0 replys. 34 posts on 5 sites, but this forum have hundreds or thousands sites,

If I use the search I often find the same questions as mine but no solutions. Hmmmh……

If you access your site with www. it shows the error, if you access your site with http://yoursite it shows no error, chec kin your configuration.php what your live site is set to?
The do a redirect in the htaccess file, i have posted how to do that in the forum before. If you cant find it let me know and ill help you out.
From what i can see things works as they should while access your site with http://yoursite only and not with www.

Or are you using the extensions for 1.0.xx instead of for 1.5?

Hi Menalto,

thank you for your quick answer. I installed Fagus quickstart 1.5 so I think the extensions are right.
www = Direct Access to this location is not allowed.
but no www=no newsflash changing, always the same newsflash

This is my livesite in the configuration.php:
var $log_path = ‘/homepages/10/d190417596/htdocs/onlinepoker-pokerraeume/logs’;
var $tmp_path = ‘/homepages/10/d190417596/htdocs/onlinepoker-pokerraeume/tmp’;
var $live_site = ‘http://www.poker-champions.eu’;

As I checked it today the livesite was delete *** var $live_site = ”; *** and the chmod was 444.
I config it to 644.

Do you have a link for me where I can find how to change the .htaccess ?

My problems with JA newsflash are now since 43 days without solution. It is the error message: Direct Access to this location is not allowed and problem with “http://www.”: in the.htaccess

Everyone knows how much such problems reside and that such errors even in places google ranking cost. It is clear to me that everyone helps without obligation. But I think it´s not o.k. someone to write “I will help you,” and then in the thread and on PM’s no longer to respond.
The support should really much better. Many user-questions are never answered.

But what I want to write positive. I like the templates better here than in any other template clubs and if you are lucky enough to get help, it´s usually very competent.

This issue was started on yesterday due to a super admin account that didnt work out.
The rewrite of url was done, but problem still there.
Next step is to get the site to work as it should be.
Did you do a fresh install of Joomla? OR did you migrate to 1.5.3?
Due to that the error still there can be:
– A module/component written for 1.0.xx is installed. Or an error in an module/component installed.

Your site have a problem with the language:
Check the newsletter:
_CMN_NAME
_CMN_EMAIL

We have now used quite a long time trying to resolve this issue, but no luck yet.
There is a couple of things left that we didnt try yet that we gonna do. So i will keep you informed about the process.

About Ja showcse , plz download attach file 1631, then unzip, copy overwrite to administratorcomponentscom_jashowcase folder (plz back up admin.jashowcase.php file before overwrite)

Hi nguoiabcd + Menalto,

it seems that JA Newsflash now works very well. Thank you for fixing this problem. I´m very happy about this quick and good help.

The admin.jashowcase.zip also helps me, now I can order the items. But now only site 1 works. If I click to Site 2 , “Next” and “End” it shows site 1, too.
