I tried to suppress the date and name of author. Followed instruction from joomla forum.
Content > Article Manager > Parameters. Then marked ‘hide’ – “Author Name” and ” , “Created Date and Time” and “Modified Date and Time”. Saved and… well it is still showing both.
Am I missing something?

Hi emanuel,

you must go to Menus -> Main menu to edit menu, which menu is displaying this article, at Parameters (Component) tab, you must change Created Date and Time dropdown to use Global.
