I’m using the Regulus extra template. I would like to swap the Moofx Roller for the Flashrotator.
And have – somewhat – thanks to all the information on this forum, especially about removing the moofx roller. I’d like to keep the Newsflash and just replace the Roller. I have placed the rotator in the user5 module, and was hoping to remove the Moofx from around it. It now appears that the loader is actually loading the Rotator – which is kind of cool. But I’m afraid that there are extra scripts and css in there that is not needed and is slowing the site.
I’ve tried removing the javascripts and replacing user5-user9 with a new user5 module but it doesn’t appear to work.
am i on the right track? yank all javascripts, css related to the Moofx roller and replace?

Please remove these lines in template index.php file:

And change:

to: <body id="bd" onload="setUserOptions();">

Thanks a lot for posting the way you changed moofx into a moduleposition. It finally worked for me too! :p
But I still have one problem! the margin between flashrotator and the newsflashmodule is now twice as thick as it used to be. Can you tell me what I should do to have it the size it used to be?
I like the way you tuned regulus! Very nice and professional. Do you use ijoomla for this Magazine Style?

I figured it out myself!
I had to make the following changes in the css file
* NEWFLASH

#ja-newsflash {
float: right;
width: 155px;
margin: 5px 5px 5px 0px!important;
margin: 5px 3px 5px 0px;
that solved the Problem! I am happy again!
