I Have a site that I used the JA NEX template with the T3V2 framework, and recently I was told that if I want my site to be Mobile Optimized I have to switch to T3 Framework? Isn’t T3 older than T3v2? What are the advantages of switching to T3? Do I need to start from scratch?
I just want to be able to have a mobile optimized site…is there any other solution?
I have Joomla! 3.1.1 with T3v2 Framework currently

October 15, 2015 at 4:56 am #705210I dont want to try this on my online site, so I backed up the site, uploaded it in another directory under a different domain.
Which two should I download from this list?
Once I download, do I just upload the template and the framework through Extension Manager?

Yes, disable your T3V2 System plugin and enable the new installed
If you look at the JA_NEX T3 Framework documentation HERE you will see that new template is using new positions names
So ( after you updated all modules using the Ja Extension Manager component ) you should change position names from template manager Layout tab or change positions assignments for all the modules with the new T3 template position
EXAMPLE : Ja News Featured Module
1) Ja Nex T3V2 position name was sl1-1
2) Ja Nex T3 position top-home1pavit Moderatorpavit
