Hi,

I have created a new module from ‘Syndication Feeds’ and added all the details. I have selected Sidebar-1 for where it needs to show. I have also selected menu assignment as my ‘Home Page’ ( Site

What is happening is that the module does not show (its there, but not showing). I have set up a new category in Components –> News Feeds

Any idea why this is not working?

Hi there

If you look at the Joomla documentation HERE You can see that module Syndication Feeds is not available on all menu items

Not all menu items types actually provide for an RSS feed. This will be displayed on types of Category Blog and on Featured Articles menu types (probably others). On pages for which no feed is available this module will not display.

If you look at your Events menu item then you will see module Syndication Feeds correctly working in position sidebar-1
