I have a menu item that is a "List All Categories" type.

It displays the list of categories just fine.

When one clicks on one of the categories, the user sees

a big zero, then underneath

"Syntax error, unexpected ‘?’

What is going on?

I also tried creating a "List all categories" link on another site (JA_Biz) and had the same result.

What is going on?

I’ve tried a number of things… with no luck.

Created a standard joomla module "This module displays a list of categories from one parent category."

Displays fine.

Click on a category link – same error message.

???????

Why the original problem happened is a mystery.

I had to get something working – so I created a article listing by category.

After I did that, the other problems went away.

But that was not how I wanted the site to work in the first place (i.e. user selects category, then drills down to articles).

????

might as well close the ticket, unless you can tell me why…
